Obama Got Osama? No, American Armed Forces Did.

Osama Bin Laden has been a dead man since days after 09/11/01. The only thing we lacked was a body, which took about a decade to attain bunker temperature.

MSNBC said "Baraq Obama has achieved what two previous presidents failed to do". That doesn't square with the actual history of the situation. Bill Clinton had a clear shot at Bin Laden prior to 9/11, and failed to take it, on the advice of his legal beagles. It was Clinton administration policy that crippled our intelligence capability to connect the dots leading up to 9/11. The Bush administration was thus caught by surprise on 9/11, and it defined Bush's entire presidency -- much to the consternation of the illiberals. Bin Laden has been a marked man ever since, and during the intervening decade, he was completely unable to coordinate any Al Qaeda operations.

Congratulations to our armed forces for completing the mission that started on 09/12/01. Congratulations to Baraq Hussein Obama for allowing the military to complete their mission.

The Only Question You Need

"Which article of the Constitution gives government the authority to do that?"

If more and more people start asking this question, I think most of our worst political problems, in all branches and all levels of government would go away by themselves, almost overnight. When a reporter asked Nancy Pelosi that question about the healthcare bill, her deer-in-the-headlights response was, "Are you serious?" Well, we are serious, and politicians should be afraid to step out of their offices without a credible answer to that question. It is the only "litmus test" that we need.

It really takes so little effort, that it is at least worth a try. The beauty of it is, this really should appeal to honest people from anywhere on the political spectrum.

Uphold and Defend

Big government and bad policy, usurpation of authority not granted in the US Constitution is human nature. Republicans and Democrats are both guilty. We the People must realize that this is not a partisan issue, and demand that all of our politicians follow the Constitution.

The US Constitution is still the official specification for the United States of America.
It guarantees equal justice for all, and protects your life, liberty and prosperity.
Any regime that distorts or disregards its original intent is untrustworthy and dangerous.
